One of the Auburn football position groups most in need of new talent in the recruiting class of 2023 is the offensive line corps. Although there are many returners on the roster for 2022, they are likely to move on from the Plains after this season and the Tigers will need more depth on the line.
Recently the Tigers have made 4-star offensive lineman Connor Lew a high priority in the class of 2023. Lew is ranked as the #663 overall recruit and the #45 inside offensive lineman in the recruiting class of 2023 as well as the #61 recruit out of the state of Georgia.
Earlier this week, Auburn football made the cut for the Georgia native, who named a final four schools of Auburn, Clemson, Georgia, and Miami.
Lew has made it to campus several times so far, twice for games last season, and then a spring and summer visit, as well. Lew’s next visit to Auburn, his fifth, will be an official visit on June 17. He is also slated to take official visits to Georgia on June 3, Miami on June 10, and Clemson on 24.
According to Auburn Live, the Tigers are particularly high on Connor Lew due to his similarities to current class of 2023 commit Bradyn Joiner from Auburn High School:
"Joiner and Lew are similar prospects as they both project at the center position. That, of course, doesn’t mean they can’t both be taken. Auburn would be thrilled to have both in the class. Both are versatile enough to slide out to guard and make a difference there as well."
Auburn football would be in a great position if they were to land Connor Few in addition to Bradyn Joiner, and both would have a big impact on the Tigers’ future offensive line.
