Auburn football WR Dazalin Worsham

Being given a second chance after making the mistake of buying into Manny Diaz’ failed regime at Miami, Dazalin Worsham comes to the Plains with a chance to carve out a role in the offense as an option for whoever ends up being QB.

Worsham, as a Hewitt-Trussville product, is returning to his home-state to a school that has several of his teammates on their roster (Omari Kelly) or in their recruiting recruiting crosshairs (Hunter Osbourne).

While Worsham has no recorded stats from his time in Miami, he was named to the Second-Team All-State, Class 7A in 2018. He’ll be working against the fact that he joined the team after spring practice, but the WR room is short on significant game experience anyway outside of Shedrick Jackson.

Worsham would be a beneficiary of T.J. Finley not being named the starter since no other Tigers QB has experience with the other options. Even if Finley is the starting signal-caller come September, keep an eye on Worsham as a breakout contributor.
