How to watch Auburn Tigers football in 2022
At long last, college football is nearly back. Here’s how to watch Auburn Tigers football throughout the 2022 season.
Fly War Eagle! Football is almost back – which means we finally have our Saturday rituals back. Here’s how to watch Auburn Tigers football in 2022.
Auburn Tigers 2022 Outlook
Well, it’s been an interesting journey under Bryan Harsin. The Tigers went 6-7 last year – the first with Harsin at the helm – and then the head coach was investigated in the offseason. That was the bad news.
The good news? The Tigers still brought in a top 25 recruiting class and return a really great running back in Tank Bigsby.
Bigsby finished last season with 1,102 yards and 10 touchdowns and many say he might be the best back in the conference. The Tigers will need him, because things under center get a bit murky.
Auburn has options: Zach Calzada, the Texas A&M transfer, and T.J. Finley are the two front-runners. Finley played in Dalton Nix’s absence last season, while Calzada’s claim to fame is defeating Alabama in 2021 thanks to 285 yards and three passing touchdowns.
Auburn Football Schedule 2022
Currently, only three games are locked into a time slot and network. Auburn begins the year against Mercer on Saturday, Sept. 3 at 7PM ET on ESPN+. On Saturday, Sept. 10 the Tigers host San Jose State at 7:30PM ET on ESPNU. Next, Penn State comes to Auburn on Saturday, Sept. 17 at 3:30PM ET on CBS.
Overall, Auburn starts the year with five-straight home games and ends the year with two out of three at home. This year the Iron Bowl is in Tuscaloosa, as are matchups with Mississippi State, Ole Miss and Georgia.
