Auburn football HC Bryan Harsin was incorrectly listed by ESPN as the sideline leader of the Nebraska Cornhuskers, who are opening the 2022 Power Five college football schedule against Big Ten West foe Northwestern in Dublin, Ireland.
The misleading graphic appeared during ESPN’s first ‘College Gameday’ Saturday of the 2022 season. Evidently, not only are teams still preparing to find their midseason form but so are the T.V. networks broadcasting them.
Needless to say, the college football-viewing audience was not about to let such an egregious error go. Nebraska and Auburn football are two of the most storied programs in the history of the sport, so such an error is straight up perplexing from the World Wide Leader in Sports.

Bryan Harsin replacing Scott Frost at Nebraska makes since I guess we’re just skipping ahead in the timeline.

How relevant is Auburn? ESPN is questioning Bryan Harsin’s future at Nebraska. pic.twitter.com/WXvpbWuZJh

All jokes aside, mistakes happen. Auburn football has to prove that hiring Bryan Harsin wasn’t one just as Nebraska needs to prove the same about Scott Frost.
Harsin has had just one bad season, as opposed to Frost who has yet to win more than five games in a single season since being hired in Lincoln ahead of the 2018 season after leading UCF to a shared National Championship in 2017.
