Auburn football starting signal-caller T.J. Finley is evidently not happy with the fact that Penn State’s defensive line constantly had both him and backup quarterback, Robby Ashford, scrambling out of the pocket.

Per CFB Film Room, Auburn QBs were pressured the fourth-highest number of times in the last five seasons by an SEC offensive line. Penn State was the only non-conference opponent on that list.

Former Auburn offensive coordinator Chad Morris, who oversaw Bo Nix’s regression from his freshman season in 2020, had three of his Arkansas teams on the list. Eric Kiesau and Will Friend cannot be happy to be in such company.

Auburn football fans took to Twitter to respond, and needless to say the results were quite varied:

T.J. Finley will miss Missouri vs. Auburn football on Saturday

Perhaps T.J. Finley is angry that he is going to miss Saturday’s must-win game for Auburn football against Missouri. Mizzou opened up as double-digit underdogs but the line has shifted away from AU.

As AL.com’s Tom Green reports, T.J. Finley will not be available for the SEC opener this weekend due to a shoulder injury. Green adds that it’s unclear if the injury will keep him out beyond this weekend.
