One of former Auburn football head coach Bryan Harsin’s family members is very obviously unhappy with how things unfolded on the Plains, showing an extreme level of disdain for AU following the Hugh Freeze coaching hire.

Freeze was hired four weeks to the day after Harsin was dismissed after a 9-12 record through his first season and a half (two-thirds for precision’s sake) amidst a tenure filled with scandal — though much of it proving to be unfounded, including rumors of infidelity with a staff member.

Keli Park, Harsin’s sister-in-law, took aim at Freeze on her personal Instagram for his confirmed infidelity with paid escorts back from his time as head coach of Ole Miss. “HOOK-(er) Line and Sinker” she wrote on a black backdrop on her Instagram story.

Bryan Harsin’s sister-in-law calls Auburn football head coach hiring Hugh Freeze ‘a perfect match for what Auburn wants’

OutKick’s Grayson Weir reported that Keli Park told him directly that Auburn football hiring Hugh Freeze to be their next head coach is ‘a perfect match for what Auburn wants.’ Whether that speaks to the Auburn brain trust’s supposed desire to hire someone from the south or if she claiming that a man with Freeze’s ethics was the goal is unclear.

Freeze comes with baggage, but he has also made it clear that he has done what it takes to make up for it in his family in regards to the Ole Miss scandals. What happened at Briarcrest Christian School is another issue entirely, but no criminal charges were ever filed regarding his time there. As for what’s going on with a Liberty rape victim and Freeze’s DM’s? That’s a can of worms that’ll be opened sooner or later…

For now, Auburn football fans have a new head coach and a former head coach whose family clearly detests how things have played out.
