Which Auburn football alumni will play in 2023 Super Bowl?

It’s that time of year again, time for two teams to compete on the biggest stage in professional football: The Super Bowl. In this year’s game, the 57th one of its kind, which Auburn football players will be going after a ring?

First up is offensive tackle Prince Tega Wanogho, the only former Tiger on the Kansas City Chiefs. He was signed by Auburn football as a member of the recruiting class of 2015, and was a 4-star defensive end ranked as the #113 overall prospect and the #4 player out of the state of Alabama.

Though he played defense in high school, he spent his Auburn career as an offensive tackle. He redshirted his first year due to injury and was a reserve OT in his second year, but by 2017 he earned several starts and became a full-time starter in 2018. He was selected by the Philadelphia Eagles in the 2020 NFL draft as a sixth round pick. He was signed by Kansas City in 2021 and is in his first season with the Chiefs.

Next up is the man from the land down under, Arryn Siposs. The punter played five years of professional football in the Australian League before arriving on the Plains in 2018. Over two seasons, Siposs attempted 117 punts for 5,150 yards, averaging 44 yards per punt. He signed with the Detroit Lions as a free agent following the 2020 NFL Draft, and was signed by the Philadelphia Eagles in 2021.

The last Tiger playing in the Super Bowl is offensive lineman Jack Driscoll, who joined the Auburn football team as a grad transfer in 2018 and started throughout both years he played in orange and blue. Driscoll was drafted by the Eagles in the fourth round of the 2020 NFL Draft, and has remained with the team ever since.
