We are just one week away from the start of the SEC Men’s Tournament, where all 14 SEC basketball teams will compete for the tournament title ahead of the NCAA tournament and the beginning of March Madness.

The Auburn basketball team has experienced a roller coaster of a season, with some big wins and even bigger losses. The Tigers currently sit in the middle of the SEC pack at the #6 spot after a spirit-breaking loss to the Kentucky Wildcats on Saturday. Here is what the rankings look like ahead of the last week of conference play, alongside each team’s overall and conference record:

  1. Alabama Crimson Tide – 25-4 (15-1)
  2. Texas A&M Aggies – 21-8 (13-3)
  3. Kentucky Wildcats – 20-9 (11-5)
  4. Tennessee Volunteers – 21-8 (10-6)
  5. Missouri Tigers – 21-8 (9-7)
  6. Auburn Tigers – 19-10 (9-7)
  7. Vanderbilt Commodores – 16-13 (9-7)
  8. Arkansas Razorbacks – 19-10 (8-8)
  9. Florida Gators – 14-15 (7-9)
  10. Mississippi State Bulldogs – 19-10 (7-9)
  11. Georgia Bulldogs – 16-13 (6-10)
  12. Ole Miss Rebels – 11-18 (3-13)
  13. South Carolina Gamecocks – 10-19 (3-13)
  14. LSU Tigers – 13-16 (2-14)

This year the SEC Men’s Tournament will occur March 8-12 in Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, TN. The first two games will be broadcast on the SEC Network on March 8, featuring the No. 12 seed versus the No. 13 seed at 6 p.m. and the No. 11 seed versus the No. 14 seed at 8 p.m. Here’s what the rest of the schedule will look like, in central time, as well as which channel will broadcast each game:

Second Round: Thursday, March 9 – all games on SECN
Game 3: No. 9 seed vs. No. 8 seed—12 p.m.
Game 4: Game 1 winner vs. No. 5 seed—2 p.m.
Game 5: No. 10 seed vs. No. 7 seed—6 p.m.
Game 6: Game 2 winner vs. No. 6 seed—8 p.m.

Quarterfinals: Friday, March 10
Game 7: Game 3 winner vs. No. 1 seed—12 p.m. (ESPN)
Game 8: Game 4 winner vs. No. 4 seed—2 p.m. (ESPN)
Game 9: Game 5 winner vs. No. 2 seed—6 p.m. (SECN)
Game 10: Game 6 winner vs. No. 3 seed—8 p.m. (SECN)

Semifinals: Saturday, March 11 – all games on ESPN
Game 11: Game 7 winner vs. Game 8 winner—12 p.m.
Game 12: Game 9 winner vs. Game 10 winner—2 p.m.

Championship: Sunday, March 12 – ESPN
Game 11 winner vs. Game 12 winner—12 p.m.

Though it looks like Alabama or Texas A&M stand to be the winners of both the regular season and the conference tournament, there could definitely be some surprises out of Nashville next week.
