Class of 2024 Auburn football quarterback recruit Walker White has been a spirited recruiter since he committed to the Tigers on February 3. His latest target was a Birmingham area 4-star DL out of A.H. Parker High School, Jeremiah Beaman.
White’s plea was humorous in nature, but it’s hard to say the Little Rock Christian Academy signal-caller made didn’t have quite a pitch:
Step into your backyard at Auburn Alabama and here’s why

1. Its close to home
2. You can make an early impact
4. Freeze will develop you as a player and person
5. I want to play with you not against you
6. Lastly the fans will take care of you@AuburnFootball @Jeremiah_Beaman https://t.co/laHexIPTG9
White cleared up why he didn’t include a No. 3 on his list of why Beaman should play for his home-state Auburn Tigers for those wondering…
Now you gotta give us a #3 since you skipped it

Walker White had ‘amazing’ Auburn football recruiting visit
White was quite clear about why he chose Auburn over programs like Clemson and Baylor during his commitment announcement.
“For me, I had an amazing visit at Auburn,” White said during his commitment on the 247Sports YouTube channel (h/t Montgomery Advertiser). “The staff and coach (Hugh) Freeze and just everyone was so great to me and my family. The thing that tipped it over for me, the little cherry on top for me, was me stepping on that field at night.”
Freeze previously told On3’s Keith Niebuhr that his spiritual connection to Hugh Freeze was something that resonated with him.
“He just really expressed that he wasn’t going to hide that he was a Christ follower,” White told Niebuhr. “That’s something we share in common.”
Another thing they share? They’re both hot on the recruiting trail looking to boost the Auburn football Class of 2024.
