With the spring transfer portal window opening tomorrow, the Auburn football team is expected to lose a few players and work hard to acquire a few players. Several have already announced intentions to enter the portal, including fan-favorite Jeffrey M’ba, and we can assume he won’t be the last.

After the Tigers brought in a couple of linebackers from the first portal window in Austin Keys and DeMario Tolan, two backup LBs announced they would be entering the portal. Desmond Tisdol and Kameron Brown have both decided to continue their careers elsewhere.

Earlier this week, senior LB Kameron Brown let the world know that he will be finishing up both his graduate degree and his college football career as a Chattanooga Moccasin.

Brown, the younger brother of Auburn football great and current NFL player Derrick Brown, was recruited as a 3-star out of high school and signed with the class of 2019. He spent four years on the Plains, and never broke into the starting rotation. He was a reserve linebacker for most of his time with Auburn football, but provided key depth to the Tigers.

Several other Tigers from last year’s roster have also moved on to new colleges including QB Zach Calzada to Incarnate Word, OL Keiondre Jones to Florida State, cornerback A.D. Diamond and WR Dazalin Worsham to UAB, and WR Ze’Vian Capers to Western Kentucky.

Following the firing of former head coach Bryan Harsin, several players also withdrew their names from the transfer portal and decided to stay on the Plains, including WR Tar’Varish Dawson, WR/TE Landen King, and DL Zykeivous Walker.
