Bo Nix and Bryan Harsin broke Auburn football Twitter with a shocking reunion at the Oregon Ducks spring game on April 29 in Eugene.
Tiger fans had a number of things to say regarding the shocking photo op of the reviled former Auburn football head coach and the legacy quarterback whose best days on the gridiron came following his Plains departure:
Why reunion between former Auburn football head coach Bryan Harsin and QB Bo Nix is so shocking
Back in October, Nix told CBS Sports that he was “miserable” playing under then-head coach Bryan Harsin during the 2021 season.
“Last year, I was just kind of over it,” Nix said. “Each week it was something else. There was, quite frankly, nothing I could do about it. I just remember kind of being miserable. It wasn’t fun anymore.”
Nix certainly caught flak from Tiger fans, but even upon his exit, many were thankful for the three years he put in on the Plains — including a junior season in which he willed AU to a 6-2 record and a top 15 ranking despite playing behind a bottom-tier SEC offensive line.
Harsin will never be remembered fondly by Auburn football fans following two seasons of botched late-game execution and numerous snipes at the media for merely trying to hold him accountable for personnel decisions.
So in reality, practically no love was lost after Harsin seemingly teased Tiger fans posing for a picture with a QB whose career took off after transferring from Auburn.
