Summer is coming, and so is the time for prospects from all over the country to take official visits to programs of their choice. Recently, two 5-star recruits have locked in upcoming official visits with the Auburn football program.

The first is jack linebacker target Jamonta Waller. The Mississippi native is ranked as the #22 overall prospect and the #5 edge in the recruiting class of 2024 and is the #1 recruit out of his state. His official visit to the Plains will happen in early June, and it will be his second visit to campus after making the trip earlier this year to watch a spring practice.

So far, Waller has set five official visits, according to the recruiting timeline on his 247 Sports profile: Auburn football on June 2, Penn State on June 9, Florida on June 16, Georgia on June 23, and Texas A&M on July 28. Jack linebacker is a major position of need for the Tigers, and with his talent Waller could definitely be competing for early playing time.

The next player to confirm an official visit is safety KJ Bolden. From Buford, GA, Bolden is ranked as the #11 overall prospect and the #1 safety in the recruiting class of 2024, and is the #3 recruit out of The Peach State. Bolden has been to the Plains several times this year, and is set to take his official visit during the season on October 6 during his high school’s bye week (also Auburn football’s bye week).

The safety has also set official visits to a few other schools, including Clemson on June 2, Georgia on June 9, and Ohio State on June 16. Other schools holding his interest are Florida State and Oregon.

There are five commits in the Tigers’ class of 2024, but they have yet to lock down a linebacker or a safety. Both Bolden’s and Waller’s talents would be a welcome addition to the roster.
