2023 is the beginning of a new era of Auburn football. With the arrival of new head coach Hugh Freeze and his new coaching staff, things began changing quickly on the Plains, and the Tigers will be heading into this season with plenty of new faces.

With revamped schemes and a new culture surrounding the program, it’s clear that the players are hungry to win and make Auburn football into a winning program again. This makes sense, of course, after the last two tumultuous years that set the program on a downward spiral.

But the players aren’t the only ones hungry for wins this season. Auburn football fans are ready for Coach Freeze to lead the team to victory. There is finally optimism and positivity among Tiger fans, so much so that Auburn has sold the most season tickets in program history ahead of this fall.

Starting in September, the same fans who packed out Jordan-Hare Stadium for a three-win team last season will be pouring in to cheer for a team with newfound potential. It’s definitely going to get loud.

In fact, 247 Sports Analyst Brad Crawford ranked Jordan-Hare Stadium as the seventh most difficult place to play in 2023:

"How loud will Jordan-Hare get for matchups with Georgia and Alabama? No team in the country has two home battles quite as challenging as that. If the Tigers are a threat under first-year coach Hugh Freeze, those environments have a chance to be scary for the Bulldogs and Crimson Tide. If you’ve ever experienced field level on the Plains, you’ll notice the visiting locker room is one of the smallest in college football. This makes for an uneasy setting for the opposition. Remember “Kick Six” against Alabama? That was Jordan-Hare pandemonium at its finest hour."

Tiger fans specialize in pandemonium, and a high level of attendance and noise should be expected in Hugh Freeze’s first year on the Plains.
