Auburn football career passing leader No. 7: Jarrett Stidham

  • 5,952 passing yards
  • 36 passing touchdowns
  • 11 interceptions

Jarrett Stidham was a major transfer get for Gus Malzahn during the middle of his coaching tenure, and after amassing over 1,200 passing yards in his one year at Baylor, Stidham showcased downfield dominance from the pocket in his two years on the Plains.

Auburn would’ve been a 2017 College Football Playoff team had the rules been what they’re about to be in 2024, and it was that campaign they defeated both Georgia and Alabama in their rivalry games. Of course, the script would be massively flipped in the SEC Championship game against the Bulldogs, and in typical AU fashion, Alabama ended up winning the College Football Playoff, but Stidham led the Tigers during the program’s last appearance in the conference title game.

Stidham has been a backup for the New England Patriots his entire NFL career up until now, but with the Denver Broncos, he has the chance to overtake Russell Wilson in Sean Payton’s first year as head coach.
