Auburn football career passing leader No. 3: Bo Nix

  • 7,251 passing yards
  • 39 passing touchdowns
  • 16 interceptions

You’d think that Bo Nix was half the quarterback he actually was if you based your evaluation of the Pinson product on the opinions of many Tiger fans, but in actuality, the son of Patrick Nix had the highest ceiling of any QB the program signed since Newton — and he delivered a great deal on that potential in his three years as a starter.

Though many have a negative connotation with Nix since his worst days came while everyone was locked inside during the COVID-19 pandemic and the team went 6-5 while losing to South Carolina, Texas A&M, and Northwestern, it was Nix who singlehandedly held up the Bryan Harsin era; and even had the team thriving during the first eight games of it.

History will likely look back and view Nix as an Oregon Duck first and foremost, but anyone in the state of Alabama knows he was born and raised to be an Auburn Tiger and represented the orange and blue well when he was wearing those colors.
