Disgraced ex-Auburn football head coach Bryan Harsin chimed in on Bo Nix’s postgame speech following a hard-fought win by the Washington Huskies over the quarterback’s Oregon Ducks, once again referencing the “man in the arena” verbiage often-linked with Pat Dye due to the legendary coach’s book.

But after a 48-18 blowout loss to LSU, Tiger fans went scorched earth on the head coach; whom many blamed for running Nix off the Plains to begin with.

“You are the reason he left Auburn,” one furious poster prefaced before saying, “You were so transcendentally bad at your job that Nix felt he had to leave you to save his career. The man in the Arena indeed, but you’re not *in* the arena. You were removed from the arena for pissing off everyone willing to work with you.”

“This damn idiot is everything wrong with our team,” another poster said of Harsin. “His nasty fingers are still all over it. Where do you think Bo learned these lessons? From having to leave everything he loved after a damn potato took it all away from him. Bryan Harsin, you are a shameful man.”

“Thanks for running him off and destroying the program coach,” said a rather sardonic poster.

“This guy does realize ‘the man in the Arena’ left Auburn because of him, right?” questioned one poster.

Perhaps not coincidental Bryan Harsin chimed in after Auburn football loss

Harsin and Nix helped Auburn football defeat LSU in Death Valley for the first time in the 21st century in 2021 while keeping the score close in a letdown loss in 2022 in which the Tigers held a 17-point lead, so his chiming in after AU’s 30-point defeat doesn’t feel like a coincidence.

Harsin has not received much interest since being let go by the Tigers, so what better way to keep himself relevant than to reappear at the very worst time for fans reeling off the worst loss to LSU since 2011?
