Former Auburn football quarterback Jarrett Stidham is currently sitting on the bench for the Denver Broncos; not being given the chance that he deserves to shine. Based on the situation he currently finds himself in he will not be getting a chance to start over veteran quarterback Russell Wilson.

At this point in his career, Stidham needs to be in a situation where he can show his game. The best thing for him to do now is to go back to the New England Patriots and reunite with legendary head coach Bill Belichick.

The legendary NFL coach was always very high on Stidham, having many believing he was going to be the one to replace Tom Brady before the football G.O.A.T. departed for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. That never panned out, but with the current lack of clarity under center in New England — largely due to former Alabama champion QB Mac Jones’ lack of development — Stidham can return and compete for the starting spot that he never got.

Stidham just needs to get the opportunity to start and show the world just how good every Tiger fan knows he is. Going back to a place where he will feel comfortable and welcomed with arguably the greatest coach in NFL history can certainly do that for him.

The Patriots need to do everything in their power to get Stidham back to the organization he was drafted by with the No. 133 pick in the fourth round of the 2019 draft. If they can make the likely low-cost move for the former Stephenville, Texas superstar and give him the chance he never got after returning from injury in 2021, New England can fix what is becoming a quickly deteriorating situation for a once-proud NFL franchise falling on some seriously hard times.
