The NFL this season has been an absolute struggle for Bryce Young. Former Auburn football Legend Cam Newton can provide great value to the rookie QB according to Panthers Wire’s Anthony Rizzuti — who believes the former Heisman winner on the Plains is the “only man” who knows what the ex-Crimson Tide Heisman is feeling.

“No. 1 overall pick and Carolina Panthers quarterback Bryce Young finally got his first NFL win this past weekend—and there’s only one man who knows exactly how he’s feeling right now,” Rizzuti wrote.

Newton was an all-time great for the Carolina Panthers, but he can relate to what Young is going through, having suffered through some early-career losses before becoming an MVP in 2015. He described his own experience in relation to Young’s first NFL win on the November 1 edition of 4th & 1.

“Every single quarterback knows the first win that you finally got,” he said. “For me, it was the Jacksonville Jaguars, and . . . just everything comes into—this is the reason why you play. Just that whole emotional kind of moment, Of course, you play to win the football game, right? And I think for Bryce, he’s been gettin’ scrutinized a lot. The Panthers organization has been gettin’ scrutinized a lot. And in the league, a win don’t care how it’s made. And I will guarantee you that feeling that Bryce has is: Ok, now it’s beginning to make sense.”

You love to see Newton giving love and support to the young quarterback, even if said QB has Alabama roots.

Newton is paying it forward to the next generation; something that was evident when the 2010 Heisman winner made his second straight appearance at Jordan-Hare Stadium for the Deep South’s Oldest Rivalry matchup with Georgia.

It’s heartwarming to see Newton giving back to all of his significant stops in his career. War Damn to that.
