Auburn football fans believe Jimbo Fisher being fired from Texas A&M will lead to 5-star Aggies recruit Cameron Coleman flipping to the Plains after the Central High School (Phenix City) previously registered interest in AU.

“Cam Coleman, Welcome to Auburn University,” said one notable Auburn X account.

“If we get Ryan Williams and Cam Coleman to flip, Freeze has the infinity Gauntlet of top 50 recruits flipping from other SEC schools,” another poster prefaced before saying, “Go ahead and pack up the SEC next year.”

“Cam Coleman, you are an Auburn Tiger,” said another.

“Cam Coleman, now you can come back home,” added another.

FSU analyst believes Noles will be the one to flip Cameron Coleman, not Auburn football

Chop Chat’s Taylor Devers is bullish on FSU being the one to reel in Coleman instead of Auburn — claiming that the Noles’ Early Signing Period could conclude with his decision to finish out his amateur playing days in Tallahassee.

“Texas A&M could be in danger of losing the commitment of the five-star prospect, who has pledged to the Aggies since July 4th,” Devers prefaced before saying, “Former Florida State head football coach Jimbo Fisher is ultimately feeling the pressure of succeeding in College Station where they currently possess a 5-4 record.

“(The Miami game) could be a perfect scenario for the Seminoles to showcase its undefeated record and production at the position. This could be an eventful ending for the Seminoles in their Early Signing Period.”

Mike Norvell’s Noles are 10-0 after knocking off rival Miami 27-20 on November 11 and looking like a potential ACC Champion and College Football Playoff contender, so it’s within reason that FSU could be a frontrunner for his services.

Just like the 2013/14 BCS National Championship game, there could be a battle between Florida State and Auburn for a coveted prize, this time on the recruiting trail.

Let’s hope the result is inverted this time.
