War Blogle took shots at both Alabama and Auburn football fans over Bo Nix’s being named a Heisman finalist for very different reasons.

“(Nix being a Heisman finalist) is great because it reminds the idiots that boo’d Bo out of AU how dumb they are, it brings out those that still say Bo sucks so they can be ridiculed, (and) Alabama fans will laugh, forgetting they did the same with Jalen Hurts, giving more examples of their hypocrisy,” the prominent AU X account tweeted.

With Nix’s polarizing Plains tenure two years in his rearview, the Pinson product is now one of the sport’s top stars; fielding the invite to the Heisman Trophy ceremony at the Jazz at Lincoln Center’s Appel Room venue in Manhattan, New York after amassing 4,145 passing yards, 40 passing touchdowns, 228 rushing yards, and another six touchdowns on the ground for Oregon in 2023. The Ducks lost the Pac-12 Championship on December 1 in a 34-31 instant classic with Washington.

Bo Nix projected to go to NFL franchise many Auburn football fans cheer for

NFL Mocks’ Hunter Haas cooked up the perfectly hilarious awkward scenario for Tiger fans who cheer for the Atlanta Falcons and hate Nix, projecting the quarterback to land with the Dirty Birds with the No. 19 pick in the 2024 NFL draft.

“Full disclosure: my list of first-round quarterbacks begins and ends after the first three names in this mock draft,” Haas prefaced before saying, “Still, Bo Nix has shown enough to merit Day 1 consideration. For the Falcons, he presents a higher-upside than Desmond Ridder, and frankly, that’s enough to pull the trigger.”

Nix returning to the Deep South would surely get a few more commuters from the Yellowhammer State to Mercedes-Benz Stadium, and it’d provide a legit QB competition for an NFC South franchise that may win the division in a major down-year for all four of its teams but is nowhere close to a Super Bowl run as currently constructed.
