Auburn is among the final three schools in Hezekiah Harris' decision on where the 4-star EDGE wants to play his college football. Currently committed to the Tigers, the Jemison HS product is set to make his final choice on September 1st, he told Rivals on Tuesday.

Harris has been committed to Hugh Freeze and Auburn since July 2024, but also has interest in SEC rivals Florida and Tennessee. He took an official visit to the Plains in late May, while also visiting the Gators and Volunteers over the summer.

At 6-foot-5 and 220 pounds, Harris is listed as the 12th-best EDGE and 108th overall player in the 2026 signing class by 247Sports.

A scouting report from the recruiting site:

Long developmental pass rusher that shows the ability to win consistently at the point of attack by utilizing his length and natural athleticism off the edge. Estimated at 6-foot-5 and 220-pounds, Harris is primarily positioned as a five technique in an even front as he flashes the athleticism to play in both a two or three point stance as an on-ball defender. The Alabama native demonstrates good play recognition in his pass rush, showing the ability to disengage blockers and let his athleticism take over in space while also displaying the ability to consistently disrupt passing lanes. The Jemison standout will need to continue to develop to add additional bulk to his frame at the next level as his game is more geared to rush the passer than anchor the run at this stage of his development. Projects as a potential above average starter to good starter at the Power Four level that will more than likely take a year or two to develop before making a significant impact on Saturdays.

Roc Bellantoni and Vontrell King-Williams are his leading recruiters at Auburn.
