Former 4-star recruit Antonio Coleman announced he is entering the transfer portal on Thursday after one year at Auburn.
The Saraland, Ala., native signed with the Tigers last December after flipping his commitment between them and rival Alabama several times. Ranked the No. 15 defensive lineman in the 2025 class, Coleman never saw the field for the Tigers after being suspended indefinitely by then-Auburn head coach Hugh Freeze in August for a violation of team rules.
During the spring, the 6-foot-1, 256-pound Coleman worked at defensive tackle before moving back to defensive end after adding more weight.
Raion Strader, a transfer from Miami, Ohio, has also announced he is entering the transfer portal after one year on the Plains. The 2024 MAC Cornerback of the Year, Strader played in all 12 games, recording total tackles and breaking up three passes.
Coleman and Strader became the first two players to enter the transfer portal since Auburn hired Alex Golesh as its new head coach on Sunday. Running back Damari Alston, wanting to preserve a redshirt, will be part of the transfer portal once it opens on Jan. 2 after leaving the program in mid-October.
