Alex Golesh has added to his first signing class as the head coach at Auburn with offensive lineman Bear McWhorter.

The former Michigan signee, McWhorter decided to decommit from the Wolverines after the firing of Sherrone Moore five days ago due to inappropriate relationships.

Listed at 6-foot-3 and 293 pounds, McWhorter hails from Cass HS in White, Ga. and is a composite 3-star by 247Sports.

It’s a splash get for new offensive line coach Tyler Hudanick. Before committing to the Wolverines, McWhorter was also considering rival Alabama, as he didn’t hold a scholarship offer from the Tigers. He joins 18 other players, including 4-star Jaquez Wilkes, Shadarius Toodle, Corey Wells and Wilson Zierer, who have signed with the Tigers since the Early Signing Period.
