The Auburn Tigers have one of the most hyped receiving corps in the country. In particular, though, Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets transfer Eric Singelton Jr., Wake Forest Demon Deacons transfer Horatio Fields, and sophomore Cam Coleman are getting the love.

The Ringer's Todd McShay was the latest to celebrate Auburn's potential "Big Three" receiving core, believing Jackson Arnold is the quarterback who can finally pay off Hugh Freeze's recruiting.

“Eric Singleton. Burner. 104 (receptions) for 1468 (yards) and nine (touchdowns) in the last two years at Georgia Tech. Chess piece on offense,” McShay said during an episode of “The McShay Show.” “It’s not just Singleton, it’s Cam Coleman. And they added this guy Horatio Fields from Wake Forest, also really productive and highly sought after. So Hugh Freeze has got some dudes now. And they’ve got to believe in Jackson Arnold to make him the guy to operate this guy so that’s gonna be fascinating.”

Greg McElroy just got done praising the trio yesterday.

"Hugh Freeze has done a great job of recognizing what I need to solidify in order to take this program to the next level. He knows he has Cam Coleman. He knows he’s got a great talent at wide receiver but they wanted to get a little bit more versatility by adding Eric Singleton from Georgia Tech. He’s 1 of the best transfer portal players in the entire country. He’s an All-ACC player from a year ago with remarkable top-end speed," McElroy said on the "Always College Football" show.

“You also get some length in Horatio Fields that can go up and win some of those contested catch situations. So you add 2 really solid wide receiver transfers to what was already an emerging wide receiver room.”

There's no excuses any longer. Freeze is entering his third season on the Plains with three cycles worth of talent accumulated.

Talking heads are setting up the narrative that the talent is there. Losing would mean the missing ingredient is coaching. Which is true.

We'll see what prophecy will be fulfilled.
