Out of Picayune Memorial HS in Mississippi, Wilson is ranked the fifth-best defensive lineman and 66th overall prospect in the 2026 class. He committed to the Crimson Tide in July, but is being recruited hard by Auburn defensive line coach Vontrell King-Williams and EDGE coach Roc Bellantoni.
From his 247Sports' scouting report:
"Raw big man that’s got the physical features and athletic foundation to emerge as a true difference-maker up front for a College Football Playoff contender. Still relatively new to the game, as he played soccer and basketball throughout his youth before, picking up football as a 10th grader. Lack of experience frequently shows up on tape."
