No matter who wins the Super Bowl between the New England Patriots and Seattle Seahawks on Sunday, at least one former Auburn Tiger will pick up a title and ring.

Auburn will be represented by the Patriots' cornerback Carlton Davis, along with the Seahawks’ linebacker Derick Hall and cornerback Nehemiah Pritchett in the big game in Santa Clara, Calif., on Sunday.

This would be Davis’ second Super Bowl ring after winning it all with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Super Bowl LV in 2021, a 31-9 victory over the Kansas City Chiefs. A former second-round pick by the Bucs in 2018, Davis was a First Team All-American and All-SEC in 2017 after a junior season in which he recorded 36 total tackles, 11 passes broken up, one interception, one fumble forced and one fumble recovery. For the Patriots this season, Davis has put up 69 tackles.

Hall, a First Team All-SEC pick in 2022, was drafted by the Seahawks with the 37th overall pick in the 2023 NFL Draft. In his final season with the Tigers, Hall put up 60 total tackles (42 solo) with 12 tackles for a loss, seven sacks, seven quarterback hurries, two forced fumbles and an interception. He’s recorded 33 total tackles and two sacks for the Seahawks this season.

A fifth-round pick by the Seahawks in the 2024 NFL Draft, Pritchett has made 14 tackles while breaking up two passes this season. In his final year on the Plains, the Jackson, Ala., native produced 22 total tackles, three passes broken up, one interception and one tackle for a loss.

The Patriots and Seahawks kick off at 5:30 p.m. on Sunday in Levi’s Stadium. They have faced each other once in the Super Bowl, a 28-24 New England win famous for Malcolm Butler’s game-sealing interception at the end zone of Russell Wilson.
