Last week, Auburn broke its drought from being ranked in the top 25 of the AP Poll with a No. 24 ranking.
On Sunday, the US LBM Coaches Poll joined in on putting Hugh Freeze's squad into their top 25, with the Tigers coming in in the last spot at No. 25.
Auburn is 3-0 for the first time since 2023 after a 31-15 victory against South Alabama on Saturday in Jordan-Hare Stadium. The Tigers jumped out to a 28-9 lead at halftime as quarterback Jackson Arnold rushed for two touchdowns while completing a 32-yard touchdown pass to Cam Coleman on the first drive of the game.
Sluggish play in the second half gave the visiting Jaguars some hope of a comeback as Arnold and the Tigers' offense could only put up three points in the final 30 minutes.
Missing Damari Alston for the second straight game, Jeremiah Cobb rushed for 119 yards and a touchdown on 19 carries, his second straight game rushing for more than 100 yards. Eric Singleton led Auburn with six catches for 65 yards before leaving the game with a hip pointer.
The Tigers open SEC play this Saturday as they travel to Norman to battle No. 12 Oklahoma.
