In today's edition of Auburn Tigers News, head coach Hugh Freeze has hope that his team can beat Alabama, and two players earn SEC honors after Texas A&M win

The Auburn football team finally picked up a big win over the weekend against the #15 Texas A&M Aggies. Though they had to fight through four overtime periods, the Tigers came out on top with a hard-fought victory.

Now, the Tigers must turn their attention to their biggest rival: Alabama. Momentum is in favor of Auburn after their big win and Alabama's tough loss to Oklahoma, but it will be a tall task to win in Tuscaloosa. Still, head coach Hugh Freeze believes there is hope.

"You have zero chance of winning if you don't have a belief that you can do it," Freeze said, per the Montgomery Advertiser. "And I think somewhere along the line in these difficult losses, we've started believing more. And hope has become a real thing — that you can go on the field and beat good football teams you've played close games with them, but you can win them.

"And it's going to take, you know, an amount of that belief going into Tuscaloosa to win; it's not an easy place to play."

Two players earn SEC honors

After the Tigers' big win this past weekend, it's no surprise that Auburn football players were chosen for multiple conference awards this week.

The first was senior running back Jarquez Hunter, who racked up 130 yards and three touchdowns in Saturday's matchup against Texas A&M. He was selected as SEC Offensive Player of the Week for the second time this season.

The other player to be honored was true freshman wide receiver Cam Coleman. With seven catches for 128 yards—a season high—and two touchdowns, Coleman was named SEC Freshman of the Week.

Auburn football will play its final game of the regular season this weekend in Tuscaloosa against Alabama.
