In today's edition of Auburn Tigers News, 247Sports shares their take on the most impactful 2025 signee. In addition, we look at the schedule of games for the SEC Tournament

With National Signing Day (Feb. 5) officially in the rear view mirror, the Auburn football program has ended up with the No. 6 overall 2025 recruiting class. Between valuable high school signees and talented transfers, the roster already looks pretty different heading into the 2025 season.

According to 247 Sports' Brad Crawford, the Tigers' most valuable 2025 signee was a transfer rather than a high school recruit. Former Oklahoma quarterback Jackson Arnold could be a difference maker for head coach Hugh Freeze and the Tigers this fall.

"As bad as the Auburn offense was at times last season from a giveaway standpoint, the Tigers still went downfield often and had success with explosive plays through the air," wrote Crawford. "Those playmaking wideouts return along with a couple additions in the portal. Former Oklahoma signal caller Jackson Arnold should benefit from that along with better play up front. That's right — the guy the Sooners temporarily benched during last fall's spiral could be one of the SEC's best in 2025. Arnold was sacked 34 times in 10 starts last season, including 16 times total in losses to South Carolina and Ole Miss. Hugh Freeze has to hit a grand slam with this Arnold acquisition — or else."
