In today's edition of Auburn Tigers news, an AU quarterback ranks in 247Sports' top 10. In addition, a 5-star wide receiver plans to visit this weekend

The Auburn football quarterback room received a major makeover during the offseason. Holden Geriner, Walker White and Hank Brown entered the transfer portal, and Payton Thorne ran out of eligibility. The Tigers brought in three quarterbacks from the transfer portal to join incoming freshman 5-star Deuce Knight: Jackson Arnold, Ashton Daniels, and Tanner Bailey.

With spring practices right around the corner, Arnold is predicted to be the Tigers' starter in 2025. According to 247Sports, Arnold is also set to be one of the most productive quarterbacks in college football next year, landing the No. 10 spot in their projection for the top 10 quarterbacks.

"As bad as the offense was at times last season from a giveaway standpoint, the Tigers still went downfield often and had success with explosive plays through the air," wrote 247Sports' Brad Crawford. "Those playmaking wideouts return along with a couple additions in the portal. Former Oklahoma signal caller Jackson Arnold should benefit from that along with better play up front."

5-star WR sets Junior Day visit
