The second round of upgrades to the north end zone of Jordan-Hare Stadium are on their way, according to Auburn University.

The university's board of trustees is set to vote on the final approval of the upgrades next Friday. These additions to the north side of the stadium will cost $323 million. The first proposal for the project was initiated in 2024, beginning with the new video board in the north end zone. The new facility will be called the "Jordan-Hare Stadium North Endzone Multipurpose Events Center Addition."

According to materials presented to the board of trustees, the addition will encompass "a seven-story, approximately 300,000 square-foot building addition to the stadium with new campus and gameday kitchens, flexible dining and concession venues, a multi-purpose hall and ballroom, intentionally flexible spaces for campus and gameday usage, and new club and premium suites," per Auburn Undercover. From the initial plans, the addition has been billed as a multi-use space.

Next Friday's vote will also propose a "re-imagining" of the space outside of the north end zone of the stadium, in which renderings show an elevated green space and pavilion area in the shadow of the proposed addition.

The additions to the stadium come on the heels of significant upgrades to Plainsman Park, including new premium spaces, additional seating in multiple areas, and new concession areas. Athletic Director John Cohen has been leading the way on these projects, and completed the first phase of the $350 million dollar stadium renovations with last year's addition of the video board.
