After three straight losses to start SEC play, Auburn will try to get back on the winning side of things as the Tigers host No. 16 Missouri on Saturday night in Jordan-Hare Stadium.

Hugh Freeze's squad is coming off another frustrating and disappointing loss to rival Georgia, in which the Tigers dominated the first half, seemingly going up 17-0 before a touchdown was called back and ruled a fumble. Auburn never threatened to score again, putting up just 40 yards of total offense in the second half in the 20-10 loss, their ninth straight loss to Kirby Smart's side.

Missouri suffered its first loss of the season, 27-24, to Alabama last week in Columbia. The Tigers had a chance to tie or take the lead with under a minute to go, but an interception by Beau Pribula ended the threat.

Eli Drinkwitz's team is currently a 1.5-point favorite over Auburn. Here are our team's predictions:

Hugh Freeze said that Auburn continues to find ways to lose games, and I haven't seen anything to make me think anything different will happen this weekend. I'm sure the defense will play a tremendous game, and it's at least encouraging to see success on one side of the ball.

Missouri 24, Auburn 10

With it being another night game in Jordan-Hare against a ranked opponent, the crowd will be amped up at the start of the game, but Missouri's ability to run the ball with Ahmad Hardy will eventually take the enthusiasm out of the stands, especially if Jackson Arnold and the Tigers' offense aren't able to get anything going.

Auburn's defense will play well, but against one of the best defenses in the nation, Arnold and company will once again come up short. The Tigers drop their fourth straight.

Missouri 23, Auburn 13
