Auburn football returns to Jordan-Hare Stadium for the second consecutive week as the Tigers host in-state rival South Alabama for the first time in history.
The Tigers are coming off a 42-3 victory over Ball State in which the defense allowed just 68 total yards, the lowest total an Auburn defense has allowed since 1985. Jackson Arnold threw 251 yards and three touchdowns, while Jeremiah Cobb added two scores in his first collegiate start.
South Alabama lost a close game to Tulane, 33-31, last Saturday, dropping to 1-1 on the season.
