Tiger fans have (mostly) settled with the fact that Chad Baker-Mazara is leaving Auburn for the West Coast and the USC Trojans. However, one USC commit apparently hasn't settled with the addition to his future team.
Senior forward Keonte Jones, who played two seasons for the Cal State Northridge Matadors, committed to play for the Trojans this spring, after entering the transfer portal. Rather quickly after Baker-Mazara had announced his transfer commitment, Jones returned to the portal.

Baker-Mazar committed to USC on April 28, after starting his collegiate career at Duquesne and then transferring to San Diego State before playing two seasons for the Tigers.
While he isn't always the most level-headed player on the court, Baker-Mazar has been a critical piece of the Auburn puzzle as the Tigers have excelled in the SEC over the last two years.
Baker-Mazar, a 6-foot-7, 180-pound guard, averaged 12.3 points, 3.0 rebounds, 2.7 assists, and 1.2 steals per game for the Tigers. Last year, Auburn finished the season with a 32-6 record and secured the regular-season conference title.

Jones, who started in 65 games for the Matadors, was a four-star transfer and the No. 32 forward in the nation. Beyond the Trojans, experts didn't see the former Cal State Northridge star joining any other team. However, with Baker-Mazar jumping on the roster, Jones is heading to the portal.
Last season, Jones was named to the All-Big West First Team for the Matadors. He averaged 13.1 points, 9.0 rebounds, 4.1 assists, 1.3 blocks, and 1.8 steals per contest. Jones has yet to announce where he will commit to next, only re-entering the transfer portal three days ago.
