South Carolina head coach Shane Beamer suspended EDGE Dylan Stewart indefinitely after his outburst during an embarrassing 49-18 loss to Alabama on Saturday.
Former Auburn captain Chandler Wooten doesn't agree with how light the punishment was. Wooten believes Stewart should've been thrown off the team for what he did.
The Carolina Panthers linebacker said he doesn't respect Beamer's decision. Wooten hinted that Stewart would've been thrown off the team if he wasn't a top-10 2027 NFL draft prospect.

Beamer had a stronger statement last night about Stewart in Tuscaloosa than his actual follow-up.
"There's a standard of how we do things in our program, and that was not it last night, and it's beyond the punch. The punch is unacceptable... it's some of the other stuff that isn't how we do things in this program," Beamer said.
"That's not how we do things around here," he said. "I'm embarrassed to see that because that's not what we're about."
It is allowed if Stewart plays another snap, to be clear.

Losing to Mississippi State in Week 3 didn't turn out to be the worst loss for the Gamecocks, even if South Carolina was favored in that game. The Bulldogs are still undefeated after knocking off Missouri in Week 4.
No, if/when Beamer gets fired, the spiral will have started on Saturday night at Bryant-Denny Stadium.
Stewart punched Crimson Tide tight end Josh Ford multiple times during the matchup, as Ford revealed postgame with a smile. Unfortunately, Alabama's Ford earned plenty of aura points for his smooth reaction.
Not only that, but Stewart openly argued with coaches. Cameras caught the outburst.
This is a PR nightmare for the University of South Carolina.
Stewart is a great player but isn't transformational enough to change the likely middling (at best) outcome for the Gamecocks this season. Beamer's squad doesn't have enough sauce to do anything significant in the SEC.
What's the point of falling on your sword like this if you're Beamer? Then again, because of his hot seat, he would've been crushed for doing the opposite. Beamer can't win for losing.
He's already lost now, though.
Buster Faulkner is a hot name for the South Carolina job
Florida offensive coordinator Buster Faulkner is making himself the hottest name for the next hiring cycle.
Faulker's Gators No. 5 offense is producing 532.8 yards per game for an undefeated, No. 8 Florida.
Faulkner has deep Georgia roots from his days playing and coaching at Division II powerhouse Valdosta State. He'd be a great fit for any program in the region.
Certainly, he'd be a better fit at South Carolina than Beamer.
We'll see if the Gamecocks pull that trigger if given the chance.
