This Saturday, Hugh Freeze and the Auburn Tigers are hosting the Georgia Bulldogs, who are still nursing their wounds from a loss to Alabama. However, the Dawgs aren't the only ones that Feeze is hosting this weekend.

The Tigers will have five-star edge rusher Tank Jones on the sidelines as they do their darndest to flip his commitment.

Jones, the No. 1 prospect from Alabama and the No. 4 EDGE in the class of 2026, is currently committed to the Oregon Ducks, choosing that program over the likes of Auburn, Alabama Crimson Tide, and more powerhouse programs.

When Georgia comes to town, Jones will be in attendance as Auburn (3-2 overall, 0-2 SEC) tries to upset the Bulldogs (4-1 overall, 2-1 SEC).

Jones committed to the Ducks earlier this year after visiting Oregon just three times. On the flip side, the Alabama native visited the Tigers and the Crimson Tide on 10 occasions. Despite the plethora of visits to his home-state teams, he committed to the Ducks over the Tigers and the Tide.

So far, Oregon head coach Dan Lanning has landed the No. 4 recruiting class of 2026, landing the Ducks second in the Big Ten rankings. Meanwhile, Hugh Freeze and the Tigers have the No. 31 class in the country, ranking 11th in the SEC recruiting standings.

If Freeze can flip Jones' commitment in his direction, it would be a massive step in the right direction for the upcoming recruiting cycle. According to On3 and Rivals, the Crimson Tide actually has a better chance of flipping him, with 9.5 percent odds, followed by the Tigers with a 7.5 percent chance.

On Saturday, Oct. 11, Auburn and No. 10 Georgia are scheduled to kick off at 6:30 p.m. CT, and the game will be broadcast on ABC.
