Auburn football's training room has been busy through the first part of the 2025 season, with multiple Tigers getting dinged up in the first three games.
The good news, according to Hugh Freeze, is that there might be only one player missing as No. 22 Auburn starts SEC play this Saturday at Oklahoma.
Auburn's head coach was asked about the injury status of several key players, including Amaris Williams, during his weekly press conference on Monday. The defensive lineman suffered a dislocated shoulder in the 31-15 win against South Alabama, which was put correctly back in place. Per Nathan King of AuburnUndercover, Williams is the only "concern" for the Tigers as they battle the Sooners.
"I think everyone else will try (to play against Oklahoma)," Freeze said.
That includes Damari Alston, who was held out of the last two games after injuring his shoulder in the season-opening win against Baylor. The starting running back rushed for 84 yards and a touchdown against the Bears.
Safety Champ Anthony suffered a broken thumb in the Baylor game, which required surgery. He is expected to be back for the SEC opener, while wide receiver Malcolm Simmons will be back after missing the South Alabama game due to a shoulder injury.
Against the Jaguars, Eric Singleton Jr. left in the second half due to a hip pointer, while cornerback Jay Crawford departed after banging knees in the first half.
