Auburn quarterback Jackson Arnold took the field at Memorial Stadium for pregame warmups as the Tigers take on his former team, Oklahoma, in an early SEC showdown.

According to the reaction from the Oklahoma student section, Sooners' fans are not particularly happy to see Arnold back in Norman.

Arnold played in 10 games for the Sooners last season, throwing for 1,421 yards and 12 touchdowns with three interceptions, while rushing for 444 yards and three scores. This offseason, he decided to enter the transfer portal, ultimately choosing Hugh Freeze and the Tigers as the destination for his continued college career.

In three games with the Tigers, the former 5-star recruit has thrown for 501 yards and four touchdowns with no picks while scoring four times with his legs.

Leading up to this weekend, the story has been on how the Oklahoma faithful would treat Arnold as he tries to lead Auburn to an upset against the Sooners. Early indications are that it will be a long day for the Auburn signal-caller.

Arnold's replacement, John Mateer, has jumped up the Heisman Trophy award watch list with his play in his first three games with Oklahoma. The Washington State transfer has completed 67.6 percent of his passes for 944 yards and five touchdowns, while getting picked off three times. Mateer has also rushed for four touchdowns while leading Brent Venables' team to a 3-0 start with an impressive win over Michigan.

Auburn and Oklahoma battle it out at 2:30 p.m. CT, with the game airing on ABC.
