Jackson Arnold came to Auburn with high expectations, as the man who could turn around the Tigers' offense. After one disappointing season, he's decided to enter the transfer portal for the second time in as many years, according to AuburnSports.com.

A former 5-star recruit out of Denton, Texas, Arnold originally signed with Oklahoma, where he spent two seasons playing for the Sooners. In 10 games in 2024, he threw for 1,421 yards and 12 touchdowns with three interceptions, while also rushing for three more scores.
Needing a fresh start, Arnold chose Auburn head coach Hugh Freeze and the Tigers to help energize his career. After a 3-0 start in which he threw for four scores and ran for four more, the wheels fell off the Tigers' offensive wagon.
After a four-game losing streak, Arnold finally lost his starting job in a game at Arkansas, in which Ashton Daniels led the Tigers to a comeback.
With Daniels staying and the emergence of freshman Deuce Knight, Arnold likely saw his playing time as nonexistent under the new head coach, Alex Golesh.
