Keldric Faulk might have never been on a winning team during his three seasons at Auburn, but anyone who watched one second of the Tigers would immediately see that it wasn’t his fault that the program was losing.

This goes for NFL scouts who have been salivating over the chance to get the defensive end on their team as he enters the upcoming draft, forgoing his senior season on the Plains. The former First Team All-SEC Freshman honoree in 2023 and Third-Team All-SEC member in 2025 won’t have to wait long to hear his name announced when the draft begins on April 23 in Pittsburgh, Pa., as he is expected to be a top-10 pick.

Will Faulk be a top-10 pick?

If the mock draft over at Saturday Blitz is correct, the Highland Home, Ala., native won’t have to travel too far to play for his new team in the NFL, as they have Faulk going with the 8th pick to the New Orleans Saints.

“The end of the season was exciting for the New Orleans Saints as it looks like they found their quarterback of the future in Tyler Shough. Now that the Saints found a quarterback, the focus can be building the rest of the roster around him. Keldric Faulk still needs to grow as a pass rusher, but he can come in and instantly make a massive difference against the run.”

Playing in every game during his three seasons at Auburn, Faulk racked up 109 total tackles (73 solo) with 19.5 tackles for a loss, 10 sacks, 15 quarterback hurries and a forced fumble. His sophomore season in 2022 was his best, as he posted 11 tackles for loss and 7 sacks, but his numbers fell as a junior, as teams often double-teamed him to take him out of the play.
