Stop us if you've heard this before, but Stephen A. Smith has delivered a rant that has people losing their minds. More specifically, plenty of Auburn Tigers hoops fans are pretty upset with the ESPN personality over his latest comments.
On Sunday, Bruce Pearl and Co. were given the No. 1 overall seed in the NCAA Tournament - something this team fully deserved. However, the Tigers have also lost three of their last four games and people are starting to worry about them.
At this point last season, Auburn was ready to go on a serious run, but a loss in the first round was posted again. This is something Smith is keeping in mind with the tourney set to get started later this week. Plain and simple, Smith called out Auburn and he did so in his typical fashion:

Stephen A. Smith didn't hold back in going after the Auburn Tigers
"Bruce Pearl, I'm a huge fan of Bruce Pearl," Smith said. "You lost three of the last four games coming into the tournament. I mean, what the hell is going on? You got bounced out last year in the first round. Ya'll supposed to have attitude. Auburn, what's up? What's up, Auburn? You going home early again? That's what ya'll gonna do? Step your damn game up and handle your business. You're better than that."
A fired up Smith? What else is new. We can only hope Pearl shows the entire locker room this message from Smith and they use it as motivation. Last season, Auburn was stunned by No. 14 Yale in the first round and it left a sour taste in a lot of mouths.
This season, though, the Tigers have looked dominant and Johni Broome is one of the best players in the country. The recent losses to Alabama, Tennessee and Texas A&M have been concerning, but not enough to write off Auburn as national champion contenders. Smith seems down on this team, but the Tigers will look to make him eat his words.
