It's hard to put into words what the 2024-25 Auburn basketball team meant to people. This season was one to remember, highlighted of course by the trip to the Final Four. Despite the loss to Florida, it doesn't take away from what Johni Broome and Co. were able to get done.

Another superstar for the team was no question Chad Baker-Mazara, who was a force on both ends of the floor. Following the loss to Florida, the assumption was that Baker-Mazara would say goodbye to Bruce Pearl and Auburn.

Well, not so fast. Baker-Mazara has one more season of eligibility left, as the NCAA has given players a year back if they previously played at the JUCO level. Baker-Mazara dropped a major hint on Twitter that he's seriously considering a return for one last dance next campaign:

Chad Baker-Mazara is clearly thinking about one more season with the Auburn Tigers

In the replies to his latest post, Auburn fans are showering him with love, telling him they hope he returns for his final year of college eligibility. With Broome off to the NBA, Pearl is going to need all the help he can get for this team to try and get back to the Final Four.

Earlier in the day, standout guard Tahaad Pettiford announced that he'll be entering the NBA Draft, while keeping college eligibility. Pettiford also reportedly said that if he does return to college, it will be with Auburn and he won't transfer. It's unknown how things will shake out there.

As for Baker-Mazara, he posted 12.3 points and 3.0 rebounds per game last season. He had some issues controlling his temper, including his awful ejection against Alabama in the SEC Tournament, but the fact of the matter is he was a real difference-maker for this team and Pearl is confident he'll continue to mature. Will he be back next season or not? Who knows, but Baker-Mazara just dropped the biggest hint yet that he's leaning towards one more year with the Tigers.
