Nick Clinard has set the standard for Auburn men's golf during his tenure on the Plains, and the head coach isn't going to let it slip in any possible way.

With Jackson Koivun, the No. 1 amateur in the world, leaving after this year to join the PGA Tour, Clinard and his staff have signed yet another stellar recruiting class, which will have the Tigers competing for a national championship in the next few years. On Wednesday, Hampton Beebe, Alex Holder and Smith Summerlin signed with Auburn.

“We are so blessed to add Alex, Hampton and Smith to the Auburn golf family,” Clinard said. “They are excellent players, but more importantly, they are high-character young men from great families who will help continue to develop the culture in and out of our locker room. We’re excited to welcome them to The Plains soon!”

Beebe hails from West Palm Beach, Fla., where he was a star for Score Academy. He's finished in the top five in the Florida HS State Golf Championship the past two years.

“Hampton is an incredible young man that comes from a great family in South Florida," Clinard said. "He has tons of ability and will prosper in our culture and environment at Auburn. Hampton loves the game and will be a great asset to our program.”

Holder, an Indiana native, won his state's amateur championship this past season.

"He's a competitor, has a high passion for the game, and loves to work," Clinard said. "The 2025 Indiana State Amateur Champion has a bright future at Auburn and we look forward to his enrollment in January.”

Much like Koivun, Summerlin comes from North Carolina, who chose Auburn over the Tar Heels and Tennessee.

"Smith will be a leader in the locker room and has a bright future on the Plains," Clinard said."
