One of the biggest reasons that Tom Brady chose Tampa Bay as his final destination in his NFL career was the team’s defense. He needed a team that could win a Super Bowl, and Davis was an important piece of the Bucanneer’s secondary when they did in 2020.

Davis has started 75 games over the first six years of his career along with nine in the playoffs. He has amassed nine interceptions and 73 pass breakups with 18 in the 2020 Super Bowl season.

In 2024, Davis will play his first year away from Tampa Bay after getting traded to Detroit, to play for another Super Bowl contender.
