10 best NFL Draft picks in Auburn football history

Auburn won't be producing any first-rounders in the 2024 NFL draft, but that doesn't mean a late-round sleeper won't turn into a great value in the NFL. Many of the best draft picks in Auburn history slipped well past Round 1.

Dansby barely slipped into the second round after recording five interceptions across his final two seasons at Auburn. Then, he immediately became a difference-maker in the NFL, recording 61 tackles, five sacks, and an interception as a rookie. 

Dansby spent his first six seasons with the team that drafted him and twice had 100-tackle seasons along with 99 in 2007. However, his best season in Arizona came after he left for three years and returned in 2013 and was named second-team All-Pro with 122 tackles two of his sick career pick-sixes. 

Over his 14 years in the NFL, Dansby recorded 1,422 tackles 43.0 sacks, 20 interceptions, and 20 forced fumbles.
