10 best NFL Draft picks in Auburn football history

Auburn won't be producing any first-rounders in the 2024 NFL draft, but that doesn't mean a late-round sleeper won't turn into a great value in the NFL. Many of the best draft picks in Auburn history slipped well past Round 1.

Picking in the top 10 is tough because the expectations are so high for that player, but if you get a 12-year starter out of it, then you’ve done your job as a GM. Willie Anderson was exactly that for Cincinnati playing all 16 games in each of his first 11 years of his career, most of those at right tackle.

Anderson wasn’t just durable, he also aged well. In 2003, when he was 28, Anderson made his first of what would become four consecutive Pro Bowls. He was also named first-team All-Pro every year from 2004-06.

After playing 12 years for the Bengals, the last of which was shortened by injury, Anderson returned to play a single season with the Baltimore Ravens in 2008 and was a finalist for the Comeback Player of the Year Award.
