Auburn football redshirt freshman quarterback Hank Brown, of Music City Bowl fourth-quarter redemption-for-the-QB-room fame, went on Zac Blackerby's Locked On Auburn podcast and spoke highly of one of his potential offensive skill-position weapons, Bryce Cain, and one of his QB room competitors, Walker White.

On Cain, Brown spoke in admiration of his competitive nature.

"Yeah, you know, I'd say my favorite thing about Bryce is he's just a competitor," Brown said (h/t Auburn Daily). "He shows up to work every day and is not afraid of anyone, truthfully. And I just love that about him, and he's going to be special for sure. Can't have enough good things to say about him."

When speaking of White, Brown spoke more to the personal relationship he has with the Little Rock Christian Academy star and how close he is with the other signal-callers in AU's QB room, Payton Thorne and Holden Geriner.

"I love the quarterback room," Brown said (h/t Auburn Daily). "We're all super close. And adding Walker to that is, you know, awesome. You know, he's a great guy. And so, you know, all of us together, I think we've grown and got a lot closer throughout the past year being together. And so, you know, I just, I couldn't say enough good things about it. We're super close, and we're just excited to compete against each other and grow together."

Hank Brown and Walker White may be top two options in Auburn football QB room

Many Tiger fans who sat in the cold on December 30 in Nashville to watch Maryland destroy Auburn 31-13 have likely seen enough of Thorne. Geriner has a great arm, but his lack of mobility in the pocket, even to avoid tackles, is too glaring to trust with the QB1 role.

It's possible that even months ahead of A-Day, Brown and White are already the top two options in the QB room. While the job is seemingly Thorne's to lose, Hugh Freeze is risking a fan revolt from here on out if he trots No. 1 out and he fails to deliver.
