In today's edition of Auburn Tigers News, Auburn football is zeroing in on 5-star quarterback Julian Lewis and the #1 edge in the 2025 class sets an official visit

With Husan Longstreet committing to Texas A&M last week, the Auburn football coaching staff is zeroing in on another quarterback option from the recruiting class of 2025. 5-star USC commit Julian Lewis is at the top of the board for the Tigers, who have already hosted the QB twice this year for unofficial visits.

"Auburn’s great people," Lewis said, per Auburn Rivals. "I love it out there overall. I love the town, love the people out there, they got some great fans out there. You know it’s gonna be deep. Just getting a chance to play in something like the Iron Bowl is always something to look at."

Lewis will arrive on the Plains for an official visit later this summer, and is eager to get through the visits and make a final decision. Alongside USC, Lewis is considering Auburn, Colorado, Alabama and Georgia.

#1 edge in the 2025 class sets an official visit

Lewis isn't the only USC commit that is showing interest in the Auburn football program. The #1 edge rusher in the recruiting class of 2025, Isaiah Gibson, is committed to the Trojans but has also set an official visit with the Tigers.

From Warner Robins, Georgia, Gibson is ranked as the #6 prospect out of the Peach State and committed to USC in March. He visited the Plains for A-Day earlier this month, and is expected to officially visit in early June. Other schools pursuing the edge include Georgia, South Carolina, Ohio State, Florida and Oklahoma.

Between Lewis and Gibson, it seems like the Auburn football program is pushing hard to pull off a USC flip.
