Auburn Tigers News: Auburn football flips Alvin Henderson, AU Marching Band in EA Sports College Football 25
In today's edition of Auburn Tigers News, Alvin Henderson flips from Penn State to Hugh Freeze's Auburn football program and the AU Marching Band is announced for EA Sports College Football 25
It's always great to be an Auburn Tiger, but that's especially true on June 21, 2024.
Alvin Henderson, a four-star running back from Elba, Alabama, announced his flip from Penn State to Hugh Freeze's Tigers -- mainly because of first-year offensive coordinator Derrick Nix, who Henderson claims treated him like a priority.
"I saw the thing on Twitter drop, he texted me, hit me up and our relationship has grown," Henderson said (h/t Rivals). "The connection with me and him is I have younger siblings, he has younger children, so I feel like when my family is around him, it’s just an instant connection. It’s locked in, and not just on the field, but off the field, too...This whole recruiting process, these last six months, he’s shown me why I was his No. 1 priority."
Philip Montgomery, now a championship co-OC with the Birmingham Stallions, didn't have this kind of clout on the recruiting trail. But Nix and Freeze, who worked together at Ole Miss, are in unison with their messaging and gameplan, and Henderson is living proof of that.
Auburn University Marching Band announced for EA Sports College Football 25
When Tiger fans turn on their PlayStation 5 or Xbox Series X/Series S on July 19, they'll be hearing authentic recordings of the Auburn University Marching Band in digital Jordan-Hare Stadium.
The official Auburn Athletics X account released a video announcing that they're "in the game" in a fitting ode to EA Sports' official tagline.
If the Eagle Flight, Bodda Getta, and the entire pregame experience is also included, EA Sports College Football 25 has the potential to be the greatest sports game of all time.
The gameplay just needs to be different from the Madden franchise.
