In today's edition of Auburn Tigers News, an in-state LB will have a decision soon, and Auburn basketball is playing for the SEC tourney title
Auburn football recruiting never rests, and the Tigers are looking to have this effort pay off next month with an elite in-state linebacker. 4-star Eric Winters, from Enterprise, AL, is ranked as the #6 linebacker in the recruiting class of 2025 and is the #5 player out of the state.
Winters was on campus over the weekend and is being heavily recruited by his would-be position coach Josh Aldridge, co-defenseive coordinators Charles Kelly and DJ Durkin. Georgia, Miami, and Tennessee are also pushing hard for the LB, and he has visits lined up to each of those programs throughout the month, per Auburn Rivals.
His goal is to be committed by the time his high school team starts spring practice at the end of April, and plans to commit to the program that makes him feel comfortable and excited.

After demolishing South Carolina on Friday, the head coach Bruce Pearl and his squad took care of business again today against Mississippi State. The Bulldogs are one of the most physical teams the Tigers have faced all season, and it was a battle throughout the whole game.
Then, after a timeout in the second half, Dylan Cardwell got things going with back-to-back baskets, and Auburn basketball was cooking. According to Chad Baker-Mazara, it was the turning point of the matchup, per Auburn Athletics.
"To be honest, that was really a game changer," Baker-Mazara said. "I feel like that gave us a spark. It helped get the crowd involved, too. It was a really big play. He came in, basically came in clutch, and turned the whole momentum around."
Auburn basketball will face off against Florida for the championship crown tomorrow at noon on ESPN.
